What You Need to Know

16+ and Valid IDAll operators and riders must be 16 or older. Operators must have a valid unexpired U.S. driver's license. No one under 16 is permitted under any circumstances.

Must Be Able to SwimAll riders must be able to swim independently without assistance.

🎓

Boater Education RequiredA valid Texas Boater Education Certificate is required for all operators under Texas law. Contact TPWD for exemptions and deferrals.

Waiver RequiredAll renters sign a rental agreement and liability waiver before operating. Passengers require their own amendment.
