Terms governing use of our website and services

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Texas Lake Toys LLC website at txlaketoys.com and your use of our personal watercraft rental services. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. Your rental itself is governed by our Rental Agreement, Liability Waiver, and any applicable amendment, which you sign before riding. If anything in these Terms conflicts with your signed rental documents, the signed documents control.
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use it in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the website or interfere with anyone else's use of it, including submitting false bookings or attempting to get around our booking or payment systems.
• The primary renter must be at least 18 years old with a valid, unexpired driver's license
• Operators and passengers who are 16 or 17 must complete Amendment B — Minor Operator / Passenger, signed by a parent or legal guardian. No one under 16 may ride or operate under any circumstances
• Every passenger must sign Amendment A — Passenger Amendment and the Liability Waiver before boarding
• A valid Texas Boater Education Certificate is required for all operators under Texas law
• All riders must be able to swim independently and meet the physical requirements in the Rental Agreement
• The SPX and SP are single-rider units (200 lbs max). The GTX 4-TEC and Wake 155 carry up to 3 riders (500 lbs max)
• Every operator completes an in-person safety briefing before departure
• When you book online, your time slot is held for 30 minutes while you sign your rental agreement and pay your booking deposit
• The booking deposit is $50 per watercraft and is applied toward your rental total. Your booking is confirmed once the deposit is received
• If the deposit isn't paid within the hold period, the hold is released automatically and the time slot reopens. If a deposit is received after a hold has been released, it will be refunded in full
• The remaining balance is due at the time of rental, along with a $150 refundable security deposit per watercraft, placed as a card pre-authorization hold
• Same-day rentals are booked by phone or text at (214) 586-0829
• Promo codes are limited to one per booking, apply to the rental total, do not reduce the booking deposit, and may be changed or discontinued at any time
All prices on this website are subject to change at any time without notice, including increased rates for holidays, peak season, and special events. The rate confirmed at the time of booking applies to that rental only.
• Cancel 48 hours or more before your scheduled start time for a full refund of your booking deposit
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your start time are non-refundable
• If you haven't arrived within 30 minutes of your start time without contacting us, you are considered a no-show and forfeit your booking deposit
• Your rental period begins at your scheduled start time, not when you arrive. Late arrival does not extend your return time

We can't control the weather. If we cancel your rental because of unsafe conditions, such as lightning, thunderstorms, tornado watches or warnings, high winds, or other severe weather alerts, your booking deposit will be applied to a rescheduled rental on a date we agree on within 30 days. If no new date is agreed within 30 days, your deposit will be refunded in full. Rain, mist, overcast skies, or cool temperatures alone are not considered unsafe, and cancellations for those reasons follow the standard cancellation terms above. No refund, credit, or extension is given for time lost to weather that develops during your rental.
Watercraft must be returned by the agreed return time. After a 15-minute grace period, a late fee of $2.00 per minute applies. Renters are responsible for damage and lost equipment as described in the Rental Agreement, and amounts owed may be charged against the security deposit, with any amount above the deposit invoiced to the renter.
Personal watercraft operation involves inherent risks of injury, death, and property damage. By using our services, you acknowledge these risks and agree to the terms of our Liability Waiver, which must be signed before boarding or operating any watercraft.
We may photograph or record video during rentals and events. We only use your image, name, or likeness in our marketing if you sign our Photo & Media Release, which is optional and never required to rent. For anyone under 18, the release must be signed by a parent or legal guardian, and we will not publish a minor's full name, school, or home address. You can ask us to remove specific content from active use at info@txlaketoys.com.
All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and the Texas Lake Toys brand, is the property of Texas Lake Toys LLC and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, Texas Lake Toys LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our website or services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the rental giving rise to the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
